Your First Scan

How to run your first scan and what to expect from the results.

Running a scan

Go to the Indexora homepage and enter your website URL in the input field. No account required to start. The free scan runs automatically and takes 15–30 seconds.

During the scan, Indexora fetches your existing robots.txt, sitemap, meta tags, and structured data, then runs a PageSpeed analysis to measure Core Web Vitals. The results are compiled into a GEO Score and a set of generated files.

Free vs Premium

The free scan gives you:

  • Your GEO Score (0–100) with a breakdown by category
  • A basic robots.txt and sitemap.xml
  • Identification of blocking issues (e.g. GPTBot blocked, sitemap missing)

The Premium scan (AI Visibility Kit, $29.99 one-time) adds:

  • All 12 AI visibility files as a ZIP download
  • AI-generated llms.txt, ai-index.json, and FAQ schema
  • A React JSON-LD schema component ready to paste into your site
  • Open Graph and Twitter Card meta tags
  • A plain-text about-us.txt optimised for AI comprehension

Reading your results

After the scan, you land on the /generate results page. You will see:

  • Your overall GEO Score and score band (AI-Ready / Good / Needs Work / Poor)
  • A numbered guide showing which files to deploy and where
  • A ZIP download button (free tier: basic files; premium: full kit)

The results page also shows a sidebar with each generated file, a preview, and installation instructions for Apache, Nginx, and Cloudflare.

Next steps

Once you have your files, the next decision is how to deploy them. See Deploy Your Files for the three available methods.

To track your score over time, set up GEO Monitor.
